Dolphin Dynamics' international headquarters is in London, where the company's development, support, project management, training, commercial and senior management team are based. A team of over 60 staff recruited mainly from the travel industry and travel technology sectors, many of whom have practical experience of using Dolphin with our customers.
The company is lead by an experienced management team, with extensive knowledge of the travel and technology sectors. Here's an introduction to the Management Team:
Roberto Da Re
President
Roberto is a travel technology and international marketing expert who spent 5 years before founding Dolphin Dynamics, covering various positions in different departments for SABRE, the world's biggest Global GDS (Global Distribution System). Roberto advanced exceptionally quickly within SABRE from Area Sales Manager for N. Italy to the Manager of Business Development Manager Europe, Middle East, and Africa, based in SABRE's headquarters in Texas.
Chuck Richardson
Managing Director
Chuck spent 6.5 years prior to joining Dolphin Dynamics in 1998, working for Intuit, the makers of Quicken, QuickBooks and QuickTax, market leading personal finance, small business accounting, and tax preparation software. Chuck was a key player in setting up and developing Intuit's European subsidiaries and held a wide range of positions ranging from Business Development Manager, to Product Marketing Manager, to Operations Director while working for Intuit's successful UK subsidiary.
Simon Wakeford
Head of Enterprise Project Management
With over 20 years travel industry experience - Sales, Back office Operations, and Travel IT since 1994 - as Head of Dolphin Dynamics' Enterprise Project Management (EPM) department, Simon leads a team of hugely experienced and talented Business Analysts/Project Managers who implement and manage all of Dolphin's large and/or complex customer projects. With a wealth of experience gained from hands-on involvement in multiple flagship projects, and latterly as a Program Manager ultimately responsible to the success of all EPM projects, Simon and his team have a solid reputation for consistently delivering even the most complex projects to specification, on time, and more importantly, on budget.
Steve Clark
Head of Software Development
Steve completed his MPhil in Psychology before studying for his MSc in Software Engineering. He has since completed his MBA. He has worked in travel technology for over 10 years. A people and process approach, combined with a strong methodological background has allowed Dolphin Dynamics to achieve technical leadership in the travel technology domain. He is responsible for product delivery, process improvement and technical leadership.
Steve West
Head of Operations
Steve had over 6 years of experience in the travel industry having progressed from Accounts through to Operations and finally IT working for a major tailor made tour operator. Steve joined Dolphin Dynamics in 2000 and rapidly progressed to heading up the helpdesk team and managing the data centre. In his current role he heads up the Operations department which encompasses the support desk, training department, network IT team and Dolphin product services.
John Swaine
Office Manager
John joined Dolphin in 2000 having gained five years travel accounts experience with a leading Japanese Travel company and American Express Travel Division. Having overseen the company outgrow 3 previous offices to our current Putney address, John’s team has responsibility for the company accounts, human resources, telecoms and facilities management.
Alistair Summers
Board Member
Alistair is a Chartered Accountant and partner in Summers & Co., a firm which provides strategic and financial consulting and accounting to a wide variety of businesses. Prior to Summers & Co., Alistair trained at Coopers & Lybrand.
