Dolphin Dynamics to power Azure Indies’ growing network of independent travel consultants

Dolphin Dynamics, a leading provider of integrated reservations and back-office technology to the UK travel industry, has announced a five-year partnership with Azure Indies, the independent travel consultant network based in Chester that forms part of the Azure Group.

Under the agreement, Dolphin will provide its full technology platform, including reservations, booking management and back-office systems, to support Azure Indies’ rapidly growing network of independent travel consultants (ICs), building on its existing relationship with the wider Azure business. The contract follows a competitive evaluation process and represents a significant client win for Dolphin in 2026.

The agreement will also give Azure Indies access to Dolphin’s continued investment in technology innovation, including expanded supplier connectivity across air, accommodation and ground transport, enhanced data reporting capabilities and a pipeline of new functionality in development.

“Azure Indies has created a compelling consultant first model for independent travel consultants, and we’re delighted to support its continued growth,” said Chuck Richardson, Managing Director of Dolphin Dynamics. “The business pairs a clear focus on the consultant with the rigour of a professionally run agency, which makes it well suited to our technology. Our platform is designed to support the independent consultant market with the tools and flexibility these businesses need to succeed, and we look forward to working together over the coming years.”

Azure Indies operates a model rooted in fair trading for independent consultants, transparent commercial structures and a deep commitment to investing in consultant development. The business has experienced strong growth during 2026, attracting senior consultants from across the UK who are drawn to a model that puts fair commercial terms and meaningful career development at its centre.

“Our industry is evolving, and the technology supporting it has to evolve with it,” said Edward Leigh, Chair of Azure. “The independent consultant model has become one of the most dynamic parts of the UK travel landscape, and fair trading for ICs has been at the centre of everything we have built. That means transparent commercial terms, real investment in consultant development, and the right tools for ICs to grow their own businesses on their own terms. In Dolphin we have a technology partner that understands our strategic vision and is ready to grow with us through whatever changes and demands the industry brings. They share our belief that the technology should serve the consultant rather than dictate to them, and this partnership gives our network the systems and supplier reach to back our ICs to do their best work for years to come.”

Dolphin’s platform offers connectivity to a broad range of travel suppliers, including Aviate, Bonotel, Faremine, Flexible Autos, Holiday Taxis, Hotelbeds, Jonview, Stuba, TBO and WebBeds, with additional integrations continuing to be added. The platform supports many of the UK’s leading travel businesses and travel management companies.

The Azure Indies rollout will begin in June 2026, with a phased onboarding programme leading to full network deployment later in the year.
